Graduates in this program are eligible to be recommended for a California teaching credential. Students seeking to earn a credential or certification to teach in another state can work with our student services team, who will provide support and direction to identify the most direct and efficient path to local certification.
The Master of Arts in Teaching program blends theory with hands-on field-based teaching experiences throughout. To ensure that our students are placed in a school that is dedicated to excellence in teacher preparation, we have a dedicated Placement Team that will work with you to secure a school placement that is close to your home.
